The R-BGAN modem has the size of a lap top pc, weighs only 1.6 kg and is very easy to use. It works with either your PC or PDA via USB, Bluetooth or Ethernet interface. Once the set up process is finished successfully, all you have to do is connect your PC, lift the lid of the terminal (which is the antenna), point it in the direction of the satellite and log on.

R-BGAN is a wireless packet data system based on Internet Protocol (IP) technology. It has the advantage of an "always on" connection. You only pay for the data you send and receive, not for the amount of time you are connected.
