The newest member of the EXPLORER series of BGAN products, the EXPLORER 325 is designed for on-the-move use and at 35 cm in diameter and 12 cm high, it sets a new standard for the size of vehicular BGAN antennas on the market.

EXPLORER 325 is an ideal replacement for the mini-M Compact Car Phone and in addition to the quality voice communication, it offers excellent BGAN data capabilities with speeds up to 384 kbps standard IP and up to 128 kbps streaming IP. The EXPLORER 325 antenna automatically tracks the satellite and works down to 5° elevation whether stationary or moving at speed across all types of terrain. It provides global access and is suitable for a wealth of applications and user segments from government and military through to NGO, humanitarian and field service use.

The system consists of three fully integrated units – an EXPLORER Transceiver, an Thrane IP handset and a roof mountable antenna with magnetic mounts. The system is easy to install and simple to operate: Simply place the antenna on the roof of the vehicle, connect it to the transceiver and the vehicle is turned into a mobile communication hub.
